Hi all, Well I am 56, will turn 57 in January. I just started a new job and I am the oldest. Everyone else is much younger. They have no work ethics and use fowl language loud enough for the customers

Working with young people

Hi all,

Well I am 56, will turn 57 in January. I just started a new job and I am the oldest. Everyone else is much
younger. They have no work ethics and use fowl language loud enough for the customers on the phone
to hear. The manager is younger as well and uses that language.

I don't understand the workforce these days. Are there no work ethics left? Now I want to find a job at
home so I don't have to listen to that, as well as younger people seem to be back-stabbers.

I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and if anyone knows of a good company or a legitimate at-home job, please
let me know.

God bless everyone.

Thanks
Beth

I think  young people are no experience of working, and maybe they do not realized that their behaviour is undue. and have you find your job now, and whcih industry do you in?

It is hard to find work where people don't cuss.  At Kaldi's in Kirkwood, MO, there are young workers but they don't ever use foul language in front of the customers.  Now if you feel like moving to St. Louis, Kirkwood, MO has a Kaldi's coffee and there is a Kayak's coffee house at Forest Park Parkway.  Tell the manager that you will not put up with ugly talk.  The younger people that I work with are pretty nice.  They don't dare step out of line where I work.
