I can see I have a lot of company with this problem. I am 57 yrs old looking for work. I only need part-time, no more than 20 hrs a week. The only thing I been able to get the past 4 yrs are seasonal gigs that only last 2 to 4 weeks like voting polls, opening mail at Revenue, etc. I need a steady income with a permanent job!!  Retail is unreliable these days so I prefer maybe janitorial office cleaning or office assistant filing paperwork. I have my own car but its hard keeping gas in the car for job hunting. I go online but most of the job web sites will drive plum crazy. Anyone else in Raleigh on this message board can relate to this?     Yell
