Love to travel, especially like cruises. Need someone to go with to beat the single supplement, which means I pay for 2 every time. Anyone willing to take an ocean cruise or European River cruise of 7 days or longer next year to about anywhere?   Good cabins are about gone for this year but could try something in Sep when the kids are back in school.  I'm easy to get along with,nonsmoker.

 Feel free to contact me with your travel ideas and to see if we might be compatible travel buddies. Would love to do a cruise. I've always wanted to do a European river cruise but I'm open to other locations too. I live in Bradenton FL

Hi everyone,
I have not retired as of today, but I do have vacation time that I could use to do some traveling.  I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area.  I do go to Florida and Las Vegas quite often.  But when I get there I visit family members and would like to see other parts of that area of country.  I would also like to do other traveling, but daughters don't think that is a good idea by myself.

In Response to Re: Single Senior Travel:
Hi, I have tried from time to time to start forums for single senior travelers to get to know one another. Many people said thay wanted that. I went and found forum space and built a place for members to come in and post and get to know one another. To no avail. I was in there every day and not many ever posted. So it defeated the purpose when no one shows up. I have another cruise related forum. We have been together for many years now and most us have  met one another. We are all good friends. Most are not single but I am. I enjoy going to that forum every day to socialize with them. We have met from time to time for dinners around Florida. Lots of fun and a great group of people there. You would be welcome there.  Message me for info. OceanGoingGal

Hey OceanGoingGal, I am a senior-stroke survivor, with disabled and mobility/economic issues;
I had travel fairly often before my health went south.  I have been pleasurably single for the last thirty-five years and fine with that  Everyone wants to pentalize singles traveling, yet making new friends, while getting another persective/experience and company with seasoned advice would be welcomed; not planning to travel anytime very soon, but looking ahead towards hitting the road again- been to much of Europe, north Africa, Turkey,.  Never been on a cruise yet, still on the horizon for me. Adtaste in PDX, OR.
