My wife and I will be in Europe soon, and will need to keep in touch while on separate tours in the various cities (i.e. local calls). Can anyone recommend ideas for what phones to get, and how to get

I really am incorrigibly ignorant (by choice) of such technology, and would appreciate any suggestions you can send my way.

Thanks so much!

Probably the best way is that you buy a disposable phone or a sim card ( if your current  telephone ) accepts one. If it is the case you do not need to buy a phone and buy only the minutes that you may use.
