Planning a week driving trip,and the wife and I will rent from here in South Florida and do a big loop. Iv'e heard about rental agencies that charge and extra fee for the 2nd driver of a rental.

Planning a week driving trip,and the wife and I will rent from here in South Florida and do a big loop. Iv'e heard about rental agencies that charge and extra fee for the 2nd driver of a rental. Hmm-sounds like a straight up rip-off to me. My wife and I have excellent driving records, why should that matter? Can anyone steer me to an agency does DOESN'T run this Scam?  Thanks!
