This was my 15 straight year of skiing the great ski area in Vail, Colorado. I go every year for three weeks and that's my skiing for the year. I no longer ski in the East. Vail's superb mountain grooming kept the slopes worry free and covered quite well even though there was not abundant snow in the early part of this year. During my last week, Feb. 11-18, the snows finally came and skiing new powder was glorious. We rented the same condo unit which is right near the lift in the Lionshead section of the mountain. I Fedex my skiis and ski wear right to the condo complex and fack home again and the cost is almost the same as what you would pay for checked luggage on the aiarline but without all the hassle. This is a wonderful ski area and one of the biggest in the US so you have a wide variety of choices for groomed or powder slopes. Hope to meet you on the mountain next year!
