In Response to Re: Most memorable vacation spots: Any National Park has been worth the trip. This includes Crater Lake in Oregon, Pt. Reyes National Seashore in northern California (about 60-70 miles from my home), Marin Headlands just over the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosemite can't be missed. Best time to go spring or fall, forget summer with all the crowds unless it is the only time you can get there! Recently I went to the Grand Canyon, Bryce & Zion National Parks. Each is spectacular in its own way. I did not get enough time at any of them but at least I got there. Hope to go back but I also want to go other places. Wherever you go, take time to enjoy. Posted by gramdjm I have to totally agree the first place i was gonna say was The Grand Canyon then the second place was Carls Bad Caverns. I remember them today like it was yesterday and it was back when i was a kid. I want to go back so bad one more time. |
