My 2 adult daughters and myself are going to Rome for a few days in April 2013 and are staying at a Hotel near the Quattro Venti railroad station.  Does anyone know how far that railroad station is from the city center of Rome? We are stayiing in Monteverde district of Rome.  We just want to find out if this area is within walking distance to the main sites.  Apparently there is a tram close by besides the train station, however, I am having a hard time figuring out just how far we will be from the main tourist sites (such as the Colosseum, Vatican City, Pantheon, etc).

Any information would be very helpful and appreciated.

Thank you!

Sandra
