By far, the most memorable and rewarding vacation in Europe after many years there, was the 14-day rivier cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest on AMA Watrerways... Ask me why Peter - Senior Travel

Opf course, the focussed cruises are outstanding. On the Med, on the Continent and in the North and Baltic Sea. But,I have had to turn down many, because I am solo. Nothing wrong with me, everthing works... But, I see a great cruise, can't find another to go with me and I pass on paying premo for a private cabin. ... profjcampbell@gmail.com

Hi....Yes, I know the feeling! So many places I'd love to see, but on my budget it's impossible to go alone. Can't seem to find anybody who's interested in taking a cruise, especially to Europe. Have you found a workable solution? Even the cruises that advertise "no single supplement" say that it applies only to the higher-priced cabins. Surely there's a better way!

I am gluten intolerant (celiac) and seeking a cost effective riverboat cruise, perhaps with a "seasoned" citizen discount. Is there such a thing? (I have oodles of airmiles so I have the airfare covered). Sixty three years young and female, I would be traveling on my own, as I find that is the best way to meet new and interesting people.
