Opf course, the focussed cruises are outstanding. On the Med, on the Continent and in the North and Baltic Sea. But,I have had to turn down many, because I am solo. Nothing wrong with me, everthing works... But, I see a great cruise, can't find another to go with me and I pass on paying premo for a private cabin. ... profjcampbell@gmail.com |

In Response to European River Cruises: By far, the most memorable and rewarding vacation in Europe after many years there, was the 14-day rivier cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest on AMA Watrerways... Ask me why Peter - Senior Travel Agent (retired) Posted by pkmacleod How about the short part of the Rhine cruise from Koblenz to Mainz? |

In Response to Re: European River Cruises: For those people wanting to see several destinations along the Rhine, Mosel, Danube, and along the French Waterways, there are many operators offering these River Cruises. The best thing is the fact that the ship serves as the hotel. In one keeps in mind that these ships are much smaller than ocean vessels, a great experience will happen. As former product planner for a major company, I can tell you these are great. I have been more than 20 times, and each time has been wonderful. Grand Circle and Vantage Travel may be more moderately priced than Tauck or some of the other operators. Each is different so it is important to read what is included. I strongly recommend Riverboat travel. Posted by GAA0805 |
