In Response to Anyone have any good suggestions for a Senior single going to the Florida area.: Thinking about getting away for maybe 3 to 4 days. I like shopping, walking along the beach, staying in a nice hotel where I would not have to worry about cleaniness/safety, and having a nice dinner. I used to go to New Smyrna Beach and the Orlando area. Would be interested in a package deal hotel/car/air. Thanks. Posted by crestwood I love Siesta Key--a barrier island of Sarasota. It is consistently voted as the #1 beach in the US. T!he entire Sarasota area is lovely. You can fly to the Sarasota airport, or for a better deal, you can fly to Tampa--it is about an hour's drive. |
