The last several years, we've celebrated the 4th with the neighbors. We have a cook out and everyone brings a covered dish and the host provides the brats and hamburgers. There is a huge fireworks display on the Lake which we all look forward to. I don't know how it will go this year. Heat warnings and advisories (100s), burn bans (including fireworks in some areas). But we always have fun getting together and just relaxing. Happy 4th Teri and thanks for asking. Zil |

Zil, You are right, the Fireworks may have fewer attendees in this heat! But, we can still enjoy the cookouts, even if we move them indoors, (Cookins?) . And, the concerts on television for the 4'th are good , too. Our area already had a huge fire from someone doing some early fireworks, but, I know I will be able to see some anyway, even if it is hot. |
