Looking for a big clock with day and date?

Does anybody know of a good place or idea for my mother who wants a clock or something that will automatically display the day and date? She does not want a digital read out clocks as she has poor eyesight. The read out has to be big...not so much the clock itself. ( I hope I am making sense). Oh, she lives with me in her own apartment. She has no disabilities except for her sight. She is a VERY independant 85 year young lady. :) |

Sears store near me has huge analog clocks but I don't remember any non digital clocks with date displays. You can consider getting an inexpensive android tablet and run a calendar widget to display time and date.But the largest tablet is only 9 or 10 inches. |

I think it was near furniture displays. R Posted by raleighstout This is a good question, and , I admit to buying several alarm clocks this year in search of one that was easy to read, in the dark, at night, etc. I believe they are selling more by keeping the numbers so small, and the instructions so lengthy. I miss the old wind up alarm clock, even if it was loud! |
