It's not easy to keep up with the latest in technology, since it changes so fast. But, I do like to keep track of what new products come out at the Consumer Electronics Shows, since it gives a sneak peak at what is coming down the pike: |

Google Chrome has taken over, IE left behind: From LinkedIn News: After months of chipping away at its lead, Google Chrome has finally overtaken Internet Explorer to become most popular web browser worldwide. Chrome's share of the market rose to 32.8% in the week ending May 20, while Internet Explorer's share of the market dropped to 31.9%, according to new data from StatCounter, via TheNextWeb. This marks the first full week that Chrome has beaten Explorer. Google's browser had previously topped Explorer for a single day back in March. Mozilla's Firefox is the third most popular browser with just more than a 25% of the market. |

In Response to Re: Keeping Up With Technology!: As a beginner, and new to this site, I want to know how to get an additional email name that wouldn't be my real name, like all the others I see on here. Only for certain areas that need more privacy. Also, on starting a new blog, it says to go to my profile page to start it, do I have one and how do I get there? In Response to Re: Keeping Up With Technology!: In Response to Re: Keeping Up With Technology! : With this , we will all be behind ! ou will not be able to know what's ahead of you, until you have seen at least 4 pictures and read the explanation of what they are. Our future is here. incredible !!! What an age we live in!!! Amazing technology from Japan ! Look closely and guess what they could be. Are they pens with cameras? Any wild guesses? No clue yet ? You've just looked into the future. Yes, that's right! You've just seen something that will replace your PC in the near future.? Here is how it works: In the revolution of miniature computers, scientists have made Great developments with Bluetooth technology. This is the forthcoming computer you can carry within your pockets. This "pen sort of instrument" produces both the monitor as well as the keyboard on any flat surfaces from where you can carry out functions you would normally do on your desktop computer. Can anyone say,'"Good-bye laptops!" Looks like our computers are out of date, again! Posted by communityhost The graphics did not come through, but from the wording, it is about the "pen computer". The information was based on a prototype concept from NEC in 2003. I don't think there were much of further development or projection on availability beyond that. Just do a google search on "p-ism" for more reading material. |
