Hello, I was a caregiver by way for taking care of my father for years until he passed away. I understand some of the challenges from a family member caregiver stand point. The worst part was forgetting some of my father’s medical information when there was an emergency. Some of the easiest information to recall became the hardest because I was so concerned about what was going on with my father's condition in the ER or with the paramedics. I created an iPhone app (Medical e-Folder) so that no one has to go through what I went through in the early stages of taking care of my father. I learned that every second counts when a loved one is in the ER. I created this app with caregivers in mind and want to share this with you. The Medical e-Folder App is available for purchase in Apple's app store for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Medical e-Folder provides users a mobile platform for storing, tracking and sharing medical information for themselves and their loved ones. This app is great for anyone with a family, cares for a parent, or an ill loved one. Users of the Medical e-Folder App can now have their medical history as well as that of their family's in the palm of their hand. No need to search for doctor's records when switching physicians or filling out a medical form. With the Medical e-Folder App users can store their loved one's medical history, medical conditions, allergies, hospitalization dates, blood type, height, weight, prescriptions with dosage and frequency, pharmacy information, doctors' names, immunizations, and notes. Medical e-Folder also allows you to share your stored data via text message, Bluetooth, Bump or e-mail. The information stored on your device can be shared instantaneously. No need for the recipient to retype the information in their mobile device.
- Medical e-Folder helps caring for aging parents easier.
-Know that someone has your medical information at their fingertips and can share it with medical personnel incase of an emergency
- Medical e-Folder has an easy layout and very intuitive.
- Perfect for babysitters, team moms, coaches and home nurses. - Caring for multiple children for a daytrip or a sleepover? Now keep track of who is allergic to what and have their emergency contact information in the palm of your hand. -You can also add and store your pet's veterinary information. Perfect for when you have to leave the family pet behind with a pet-sitter or a neighbor. When several physicians treat a patient, they often do not have complete information about the medication(s) prescribed or a patient's prior health history. Family members may forget or may not be aware of a vital piece of medical history during a loved one's time of medical need. Entering current and vital medical information into the Medical e-Folder App will help prevent serious delays in treatment by saving crucial time during the "golden hour" of medical treatment. Use the Medical e-Folder App to keep track of your medical information and that of your, spouse, children, parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends.
