Remake wedding bands?

Hi all. Working on renewing our wedding vows and partnership and would like to see if anyone here has ever re-made their wedding bands over again, i.e., maybe melting down two gold bands and making them anew with a second material like platinum, or some other way of combining the old with the new... I know this may sound a bit unrealistic but it's symbolic and maybe that makes sense... Thanks, |
