In Response to i can't help but wonder...: Well, I'm a bit late to the party because I just happened to find this thread. Hope it isn't too late to post a reply since I see there haven't been any in several days but I wanted to weigh in so here goes... Posted by wendy5555 what is the first few things you noticed about the other sex right away? for men i'm guessing body, then face and then maybe clothes. for women i say body then clothes. what do you all think? Personally the first thing I notice about a woman is her eyes. Yes, the shape, size, and color but not just that. Like the old saying "the eyes are the windows to the soul" or something near that, I think you can tell a good bit about a person and their character from the eyes. So that is why I think I am attracted to that first. I'm a guy - so yeah at some point I do notice a woman's figure but I really don't think that is even close to the first thing and that isn't for me the real measure of a woman's attractiveness. At least no woman has ever said, "Hey pal, my eyes are up here!" HaHa Things like the eyes, a woman's voice, and what she has to say really are qualities that I find most important in any feelings of initial attraction. Actually clothes are something I notice too. Not whether a woman is dressed to the nines but whether the clothes she chooses to wear fit with her personality. Some people, men inlcuded, I think dress to impress rather than in a way that they might find more suitable to them or more comfortable. I'm into real and so I don't want someone to try to impress me when they are disguishing who they really are as a person. Posted by wendy5555 i was really hoping people would grab this one as it might be very telling for both sexes. do men like hair long on women? does grey hair matter? how about clothes-dressy or casual? does make-up matter to you? As far as hair goes, if I had to choose a style in general I'd say I like women's hair that is around shoulder length. But that being said, I have seen a lot of attractive women with shorter hair styles that really fit them and I doubt they would have been more attractive in longer hair. I guess it depends on the woman. It seems silly to say something like, yes every woman should have long hair to suit me. Really? HaHa Shorter styles can maximize a woman's beauty in many cases. I don't have a preference as far as color but in looking back over my life, as far as relationships go I always seem to end up with blondes even though I don't believe hair color is really a point of attraction. And no, grey doesn't matter to me. I've seen many attractive women with grey hair and since I have a decided preference for real, I'd hope no woman would ever color her hair because she thought I would find her less attractive with grey. As far as makeup, I truly prefer the natural look because there are a lot of women who don't need makeup. They just have natural beauty. But if a women does wear makeup which is certainly her call, I prefer makeup that is well done. As an example, I've seen women wearing makeup, colors or what not that just doesn't suit them at all and actually detracts from their appearance. That's a turnoff. Clothing is something I notice and I prefer casual unless it is an ocassion that demands dressy. To tell the truth, a woman wearing a baseball cap really does it for me and you don't see that with heels much. HaHa Okay my two cents on a post that may never be read. :) |

Posted by wendy5555 Really depends on what the woman looks like some women look really good in short hair as apposed to long hair and vice versa. I beleive that a woman looks better when she colors her hair and I think that it makes them outwardly seem more confident as well as a boost in her self esteem. Make up (when applied properly) is alwaysacceptable to me but if I can taste her perfume before I hear her voice she is wearing way too much! LOL BTW that ain't saying that I have never seen a pretty short gray haired lady with no make up on or perfume that was strickingly beauutiful. (diplomatyic or what?) lol anyways good question! Thanks |

In Response to Re: i can't help but wonder...: This is so shallow and 6th grade. Sheesh, we have 40 million people with no health care, and people come on this site and waste time posting about hair styles when they could be organizing for universal health care. No wonder the Baby Boomers get such a bad rap as the ME Generation. Why I'm surprised that you even have time to post a comment like this. Shouldn't you be out in the clutches organizating or protesting how unfair this world turned out cause the "babyboomers" dropped the ball??? LOL chill this was just question the lady was wondering about last time I checked we still had the right to say anything we want here in the good old USA. I suggest you take a laxative or lay off the cheese dude. Have a nice day Posted by thomamnotte ![]() |

In Response to i can't help but wonder...: i can't help but wonder what the ratio is of men to women on here. i think that it would be interesting if men and women could bounce things off of each other at times. might learn something or if not might be helpful. the post of "do you dress for others" started me thinking. so my question is for both sexes. what is the first few things you noticed about the other sex right away? for men i'm guessing body, then face and then maybe clothes. for women i say body then clothes. what do you all think?
