Do you kiss on the first date? Is it better to be a gentleman or a lady and wait for a second or third date in order to get to know each other better? Or, if it feels right, is it OK to try and kiss your date by the end of the first outing in order to judge whether there's any physical chemistry ? We're not getting any younger, ya know! :-) I think it's hard not to get a little romantic, especially if wine or alcohol is shared at dinner, as long as both people are having a good time and there's a mutual attraction. Is old-fashioned romance and courting dead? What do you think about kissing on the first date?

In Response to Is It OK to Kiss on a First Date?:

I'm nearly 50, for Pete's sake...if it feels like kissing is in order, I'm going to kiss!

Oh for God's sake - make hay while the sun is shining. If you want to kiss him/her then do it. If you're not comfortable kissing b/c you're not in to him//her then don't be bullied into kissing.  Oh and if you're an AARP member and are asking this question seriously, are you SERIOUSLY asking this question?  How old are you?Kiss

I am not talking about a peck on the cheek or lips at the end of the night ... I am talking about playing tonsil hockey. :-) Personally, I think it's better to wait until the second date, especially if you both have been drinking. Gives you something to look forward to. But hey, there's nothing wrong with making out on the first date. Most of us have been there, I think.

Is It OK to Kiss on a First Date?:
[Sure why not, just do it without expectations or motives.Make sure that it remains simple.A way you can remain respectful for both parties and not embarrass anyone. The hopes is that you may get another date, and even better a real and meaningful relationship. With that being said , you can always show a person how to love you BETTER ! Who wants a great kisser , but a bad relationship ?Think relational or rational about it all , look for a lover not a kisser.

The best thing is, first, tell her you enjoyed the date, thank her for her company.  Then, ask if she would consent for another date.  Her answer will determine whether a kiss or a peck is wanted.

It depends, Did you like the date?
Do you want to see the person again?
Are they your type?
And, when was the last time you got kissed?

Then , there is the question of age.
If you are over 50, maybe,
over 60, likely,
over 70 , you had better take a chance,
and over 80, What are you waiting for??

Don't wait until Valentine's Day to look for a date!
