One item I would like to pass on for other families: My mother (in her 90's) was always sad when friends "disapeared" after family put them in care facilities or the elder moved in with family. I wanted to avoid that so we sent everyone in her address book an "I've moved" note. The result is that dozens of friends and family have been able to say goodbye to her and they are thankful we gave them that opportunity. |
