I have been a caregiver for my son for 20 some years,and for the past 3 weeks I have been so stressed it is not my son but my boyfriendwho needs help also. I have no one to tal k to because no one understands.I rarly get any help help, and I am really tired .I dont friends anymore because i am to busy to do anything fun. |

In Response to caregiving: What kind of care does your son require? And your boyfriend? We have an autistic grandson, and his parents will most likely be his lifelong caregivers as long as they are able. I wonder if there are any mental health agencies in your area? That might be a good place to start looking for someone to talk to, and would probably be priced on a sliding scale, depending upon your ability to pay. The website ivillage.com has some good message boards that might help you.
