In Response to Caregiver support group in Phoenix AZ?:
Does anyone on this board know if there are any caregiver support groups that meet in the Phoenix AZ area? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have been doing solo caregiving for my chronically-ill wife for almost 6 years now and I can see that the same is coming for my 85-year old mother soon (although she's doing well at this time). One of the biggest frustations I have is not being able to talk with others in similar situations; now that I've found this board I know it's an outlet but there's nothing like face-to-face conversation with others in like circumstances to both blow off some frustrations and to also learn something that might improve your own caregiving and how to deal with the stresses that go along with it. Thanks, Mike in Phoenix
