We just had a "You've earned a Say" conference in Kingsport, Tennessee.  I must say that the leader of the group that brought the conference to Kingsport was rude and indifferent.  He talked to the crowd as if they were uninformed in the ways of government,  and I can assure you that they weren't.  He also said the reason he was here was to bring back our answers to the members of Congress.

When you entitle a conference named "You've earned a Say",  then respondents don't say what you want them too,  you cut them off...  I wouldn't think that was "earning a say",  maybe I'm wrong,  but we all have a say in how we want our country to proceed.

Oh,  and by the way,  having a cop there was a nice touch...

Needless to say,  I wonder if anyone at this conference has had any of the same attitude projected to them.  I would welcome any and all comments.

Thanks.

I guess "you earn a say" ONLY when you see things the way they want you to see them.
Best place to have "your say" is at the ballot box in November (or earlier as be the case).

You know we are a society where many people do have to be "told" - that is truely sad.

I understand your comments but have never gone to such an event because I figured it would be just the way you described.  However, I have the same problem with my Congress Representative, Hank Johnson.  He also has no respect for my say or actually, even my thoughts.
