In Response to Re: Wisdom From Bill Cosby: Well, my mother is 85 and NOT tires! Anyway i understand what he means and I mostly agree with him. he is rich but worked hard for it-- but the government forcefylly takes some $$$ from him, calling it income tax, and gives it to some lazy slobs (maybe not all but definitely many). (I don't quite agree about religions--Islam seems cruel now, but Christians also did their share of cruel blood-sed.) Posted by Astra2012 SOME people are JUST LUCKY and there are many FINE black actors looking for work and fame. YUP poor poor millionaires and billionaires cause they are asked to paya little more in taxes to reward the country that gave them so much. What's FAIR about a guy who digs ditches or a roofer or a secretary that pays MORE taxes than a millionaire like Cosby sitting on his yacht. being served ? The 1% pathologically hoard so much cash they impoverish the entire nation. Right wingers say just because you are supposed to feed and clothe the poor doesn't mean you have the right to someone elses tax money (thou shalt not steal - it doesn't become stealing any less because you used the government to do it ) But yet while saying that they are actually lining their pockets off the backs of other people's labor when 40% of Americans are engaged in low-pay necessary service-oriented jobs and stocking our shelves with food and goods giving us a comfortable existence. Then the ones without a SOUL don't want the working poor to get healthcare and SS when they are too old to work.
