Ron Paul is the only candidate who is veteran
Ron Paul receives more donations from active military than Obama or the other candidates combined

While the main contributor to Obama's and Romney campaigns is GOLDMAN SACHS - the 3 main contibutors to Ron Paul's campaign is Army, Navy and Air Force

They know that he will put them in harm's way only when our national security requires it-not to make someone richer.

He is their chosen commandor-in-chief!

Which veterans are you talking about? Those older veterans that were proud to be called 'swift boaters' paid to lie about John Kerry's military service, dis-honoring ALL medal winners, just to help that 'coward from Crawford', or more recent veterans that President Obama brought home from Iraq, while protecting ALL veterans by eliminating doma which caused splits in military ranks. These so-called veterans, if they really support that well known 'racist' Paul, don't speak for many real veterans! Real veterans can be found on their web sites, where they support what President Obama has done for veterans, their families, their job search, and their health coverage..

Sorry Astra2012, but AGAIN, your slap against our President, our military services, and your love for that OL Texas racist, only works for far right radicals, many are only veterans of their own hate mongering, open to the hghest bidder!

btw Paul is not a racist- he is a strong believer in American Constitution (the same obama swore to deffend when taking office and then signed NDAA ) so to him
ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL

He is unable to discriminate against anybody!
Doesn't hate anybody
Sorry, but you are grossly misinformed
i don't think you  know him well...
------------------------------------------

vetarans  are from Iraq and Afganistan-- they finished their service there--weren't brought by Obama.

they were there- and I don't think you should consider them not real veterans only because they support the only candidate who understands them (as the veteran himself!)- and you support someone else

you are wrong about Ron Paul--he is honest and incorruptible.

(I even voted for Kerry, but later I found that like otheer Dems he has shares in Lockheed Martin---making bombs
no wonder Dems like Reps want wars!
They get richer from them
we pay in money
but young people pay in lives
and they want the only candidate that really supports them by prposing to end undeclared wars NOW

Astra2012, I'm not sure that anyone else pays attention to your post, it's just I feel someone has to respond to radical mis-information. Even if they can't give credit where it's due! Here we go again!

First, President Obama DID wind down the war in Iraq, as promised, the troops coming home did NOT end their service to their country, but will be re-assigned, some to Afganistan, helping to wind down that Bush war.

Second, I can't see any reason for any veteran being for the things Paul stands for given what they fought for!

Third, Paul has a proven record of racism from his opposition to the civil rights act, same as his son Rand, and opposes restrictions on the "freedom" of business owners to refuse service to blacks, which is why they 'love' him.over at Stormfront, a white-supremacist website with neo-Nazi tendencies.. Let's not forget his other unsavory fan base, Christian extremists who want to execute gays, adulterers and "insubordinate children". He might repudiate his past approval of racist liturature, but that doesn't make it less tru!

Let's put ALL of the Facts out here. In a Ron Paul America, there would be no Social Security, no Medicare or Medicaid, no environmental protection,, no help for the poor, no American with Disability Act, no anti-discrimination act, no public education, no civil rights act, no laws ensuring the safety of food or drugs or consumer products, no workers rights.

He wants to abolish the Federal Aviation Authority and its pesky air traffic controllrts. His nswer to evey problem, including how to land a plane safely; let the market handle it. It is ironic to see people just dismis President Obama's healthcare compromises, as a minor detail. In Paul's America, if you weren't prudent enough or wealthy enough to buy private insurance, and the exact policy  that covers what 's ailing you now, you find a charity or DIE.

Naturally, he would overturn ROE, let each state make laws to regulate women's bodies, which other Republicans in state and Federal government, agree that well oiled man's government should have their heads in women's reproduction systems..Just like his counterpart, Santorum, he thainks a women's right to contraception will actuall allow women to enjoy sex, leaving them the freedom to take care of their bodies and health. What a concept!

In spite of your veterans march, a lot of libertarians believe Paul is actually a Faux-Libertarian and doesn't reflect their views!

I don't think you understand Ron Paul's policies.

I'll try to answer every paragaph.

If nobody would pay attention to what's in "politics" message board that would mean that nobody here is interested in politics.
But I think people ARE interested  in politics and READ posts like that one.
So we just differ in opinion on that one.

I'm not a veteran and I do not know any veterans - but i know that Bush was ALLOWED to start both wars by our Congress, Democrats and Republicans. Constitution is clear on that--only Congres may declare war, not president.

Paul stands by American Coonstitution. Why shouldn't troops defend it too?
They don't want to be killed just because our leader's fancy (Bush in iraq) or inexperience (Obama in Afganistan after killing Osama)

they want to fight just, declared wars only!

you seem stuck on the rasism thing.
What "proven record of rasism" are you talking about? When he was a doctor he treated poor people for free, BLACK AND WHITE, EVEN BEFORE CIVIL RIGHTS.

he treated white wife of black man, when other doctors seemed to ignore them.
his personal heroes are MLKING and ROSE PARKS

When all people are created EQUAL you don't need to separate any group and give it separate rights
many Af-Am understand that and support Ron Paul!

Because he is the only candidate who challenges the establishment and the status quo there are many tactics out there to scare people. The rumors spread to ignite fear of Ron Paul are not true. He is the kindest and most polite gentleman who likes all the people, realizes that older people need help and will never ever cut Social Security or Medicare.

Proposes to cut military spending abroad and wasteful spending of the government to eliminate income tax so Americans will have more money (which would be better for our economy!)

Here's you some fuel, Astra - the linked article gives the donations to date and the controversy about the march on Feb. 20, 2012.

Prison Planet:  Leaked Email: Military Top Brass Warn Troops Off March For Ron Paul

"As has been repeatedly noted, (Link to:  Open Secrets) Ron Paul is the presidential choice of the troops. Paul has received more campaign donations from active duty military personnel than any other presidential candidate, including Barack Obama.

To date, Paul has collected $95,567 from individuals who listed their occupation as one of the branches of the US military or US Department of Defense."

Hello Gail,Thanks for the link- I 've known Alex Jones only from youtube so far.
Before I go back there to read about Judge Napolitano (I'm so sorry his show was cancelled) I just tell you (because you may not realize that) that you are a proof that people here (AND EVEN WOMEN)  are interested in what's going on in politics!

of course mainstream tv didn't cover it--my guess is because it was for Ron Paul, and they try to black him out
