Time to stop the nonsense in government by our elected officials.

Time to stop the nonsense in government by our elected officials.

I say it is time to demand "Term Limits" and the shutting down of the "Super PACs and stronger lobbying laws" The only way to get this past any elected official is to grandfater those already in office so they won't be voting themselves out of a job. Then a real push to get rid of the "Super PACs and lobby laws," as they have made such a disgrace of our country. Thinking like a date on the "Ides of march" for a mass E-Mail, snail mail, and phone in to get our points across. Another option would be petitions sent by a committee from each state to do this. Any thougths? The jobs of our elected officials is to work for the citizens and NOT for their own gain and a career of 20, 30, 40, or 50 years in office. |

SER, I agree with you. Check out the web site USACTION.ORG, they have effective petitions to send to your representatives. We cant sit back and do nothing or else we will suffer cuts to both Social Security and Medicare. SER, you are right, we do need term limits, and the end to super pacs. Libertarian, Green, Justice and Constitution Party candidates all wanted term limits for congress. You will never see it happen with Democrats and Republicans in charge. They won't even mention it.
