I don't thing I am the only one who thinks this. Regardless of who you intend to vote for, I think we should let them know that we don't want to listen to what's wrong with the other man or woman and what they have done wrong, we want to hear what YOU (the candidate) is going to do AND tell us in concrete point by point terms. I stop listening when a politician says they will "lower taxes", "put people to work"....I want specifics....how do they intend to do that.
And I don't care what party ticket a person is running on, I would vote for them is they would tell me that they would fight hard to end "earmarks". Each bill should stand alone with no riders attached with a promise that "attach my rider and I'll vote for your bill".
