In Response to Senator Rand Paul's Rhetoric Is Dead Wrong: During the recent Benghazi Senate Hearings, Republican Tea Party Senator Rand Paul called the Benghazi Embassy attack our worst tragedy since 911. What in the world was the Iraq War ? We lost 4 Americans in Benghazi, but thousands of our soldiers were killed in Iraq as well as the killing of over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians. Not to mention the thousands of returning disabled soldiers, whose lives are shattered and the Trillions of Dollars spent. We found the WMD's, but they turned out to be Weapons of Mass Deception and the Republicans just want that blame to fade away. So while the Republicans in Congress try to blame President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton for those 4 lost lives, maybe they should keep the Iraq War fresh in their minds. Senator Paul also said Secretary Clinton should have been fired after the Benghazi attack, so then I ask, What should have happened to President Bush and V.P. Cheney for invading Iraq after we learned there were NO Weapons of Mass Destruction ??? Just like Lead Weapons Inspector Major Scott Ritter told us I realize Rand Paul and many others in Congress, mostly Republicans, wish we would all just forget about the Iraq War, because that was truly our worst Tragedy since 911. Posted by mandm84 Of course anyone who THINKS knows this was a "witch hunt". Ron what's his name who kept parotting the same question...---if Hillary & the State Dept went and did the investigating shutting the FBI out in the beginning then he would have accused her of that. I have to commend Hillary for holding back a laugh when Rand Paul asked about Turkey after saying "IF I WERE PRESIDENT " (what a dreamer) as if that was even a possibility ..... I listened to this INQUEST about the idea of a conspiracy .and hiding facts .... and couldn't help but think about the mass murder in CT when we the public got erroneous information into the second day . /> />AND THIS WAS IN OUR OWN BACKYARD.))))) Not 6000 miles away in a War Zone. But as I said this Benghazi was nothing compared to the 43 consulate & embassy personnel who got killed b/t 2001-2009 and Condi-Rice had no INQUEST..... |

In Response to Re: Senator Rand Paul's Rhetoric Is Dead Wrong: What was Rand Paul saying when W. was on his failed mission in Iraq and Afghanistan that has killed and maimed thousands of young Americans. These statements that are coming from Republicans are politically motivated and nothng else. And is another reason that Idiots like that shouldn't be career politicians. Posted by creppelrm I completely agree with you because Rand Paul must be in the "twilight zone" if he's forgotten or dismissed the decade of wars that have cost us so much. Let's begin with 9-11 when Bush did nothing when he was being told about an imminent terrorist attack. Nothing can compare to the loss of lives, on both sides, when Bush took us into these wars. Yet, nothing is ever mentioned about this, even by the Democrats. Benghazi is nothing more than a political powerpoint to try to accuse Obama and Clinton of being negligent. Have the Repubs forgotten all the embassies that were attacked during the Bush administration? Rand Paul is nothing more than a political hack of a poor Red state who wants to be president some day.

This is why we need term limits for everyone in DC. Rand missed everything his father stood for. It's a shame, but he does lead his own life with his own beliefs. I won't knock him for that. But I also wouldn't vote for him. All of the 3rd party candidates wanted term limits. Until we break out of the 2 party system, DC will never change. ALSO I posted this in the Term Limit for Washington Lawmakers. Please sign this petition. We need this to pass too. Let's stop paying our government to do nothing. On 1/24 the U.S. House of Representatives passed No Budget, No Pay – a major proposal No Labels has been pushing for more than a year. http://www.nolabels.org/ |
