A victory for the President and even bigger one for the Middle Class, Poor, Disabled, and People with pre-existing medical conditions.  A Republican judge sided with the President not because of Politics but because "IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO".  Isn't that what justice is all about?  The Right Thing to Do?

Amen brother, Credit due to Republican Justice John Roberts, who had the courage to cross party lines for the better of ALL Americans. The Supreme Court decision in favor of the " Affordable Care Act " is a victory for our friends, neighbors, relatives, co- workers and all fellow Americans. For all of us stand to benefit from making America a kinder and more decent society. We need to continue demanding a True Democracy where ALL AMERICANS matter equally. We are a great nation, especially when we have each other's back. n Response to Supreme Court Decision on the Presidents Health Care Plan:

It was not only the "right thing to do"  is that it's only common sense.    This country has been  shameful the way it takes care of it's people and caters only to the already wealthy.   Of course FOX TV is going beserk over the whole matter and even calling Justice Roberts insane.  There are some who   want sick people to die early ...that means seniors too who are such a burden they feel to society.   .

 Jan,
IF it were not for our senior citizens FOX News would not have the luxury to sit in their state of the art studio spreading the lies hatred that our seniors never intended them to spread.  I know my mother and father would have disapproved  of me doing what they do.

Roberts let it stand because the individual mandate was classified as a tax. This is just another example of how obama is taxing the middle class. Fortunately, the Medicaid mandate was not upheld. States do not have to expand medicaid. Many will not, when the choice is between raising taxes, cutting services or expanding Medicaid. The law is a minefield. How many companies with slightly more than 50 employees will lay off a few to bring that number down to 49? Why can't a healthy 25 year old opt for a policy that covers only major medical?

How's about taxing the Rich like the Republicans don't want to do?  Get serious who is taxing who.  The law is a mine field in the minds of Fox News which Republicans are addicted to.

The tax code needs to be completely overhauled. It's too complex. Why wasn't the Simpson-Bowles findings adopted??? Obama was afraid it would hurt his re-election chances if he were bold enough to push for it.

The House Republicans voted  down the Simpson - Bowles Plan, because it raised taxes too high for the wealthy and did'nt cut enough from our safety net programs , such as Medicare. Remember the Republicans say our seniors are costing us too much. They must learn to do with less. You heard our great leader Republican Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan's  a real man telling our seniors and disabled to be more responsible for themselves, like all  good Catholics should. The " Nuns On The Bus " Tour and Sister Campbell  have  a message for that " Man of Chivalry ". Check out  " NUNSONTHEBUS.ORG "
Just think If Sister Campbell and her  Nuns On The Bus Tour had enough  lobbyist  with billions of dollars, their message to help our struggling Americans, might be heard in a Democracy like OURS..Response to Re: Supreme Court Decision on the Presidents Health Care Plan:

It always amazes me....that Fox TV is a source of information.
Saudi billionaire, Al-waleed bin Talal  controls an influential number of voting shares & News Corp owns Fox News,  which is one of the leading sources of  " mis-information."     I am not insinuating anything  just because a Saudi-billionaire has controlling interest  ..but personally find it very disturbing.

GUESS WHO has been designated to do with LESS ?    It's not the members of congress who want their healthcare and fine 6 figure  pensions......but they don't want the rest of us to have any of it.... cause they want a free-lunch for themselves.
Extending the age of retirement is another idea coming from those who sit on their duffs for work....ignoring the ones who do the dirty jobs---hard labor that is who now can work til they drop.....do they care ?  NAW.   .
This country can afford ANYTHING is choses to afford and prioritize and it certainly has prioritized making the wealthy more wealthy,  encouraging growth in  population  without enough good jobs to support it.....and still sending $$ overseas to countries that hate us.   Not to mention sacrificing our young for freedom that the middle east never asked for......they like their imprisonment to islam.
