The GOP knows that the bigger the turnout, the more likely the Democrats will win. So the GOP always tries to suppress voter turnout. |

@www.aarp.org/online-community/people/showProfile.action?UID=10922932&plckUserId=10922932" target="_parent">anjbucklin How do you know if the jobs bill won't create jobs? Have you looked at the bridges? When is the last time you went into a school? Our country is in serious need of repairs. It's been over 50yrs for some bridges. How are your knees? Hips? Need a little work? We could all use a tune up after 50...so could our infastructure. Have you read the proposal? Looks good to me. I'm not the vice president...but like he's been know to say ...It's a big Friggin deal! Pass the Bill, it will save jobs, get money flowing...nothing wrong with that Bucklin. The unions have nothing to do with the post office failings. Lets face it the internet has drastically reduced mail flow. Are you one of those GOP union busters? Look at anything that has been priviatized. LOOK AT THE NUMBERS....it will not save the PEOPLE money. Who will benefit/profit? CORPORATIONS...the same that spend billions on elections for their own interests. Really, look at the wars. We contracted with Black Water and what ever they call them selves now. Paying for contractors has cost more that what we pay are soldiers! Please review FACTS before you make claims. So if our government can spend less money to keep things affordable for the average American, why not? That is not big government. That is taking care of your own....we have built this country. I've always taught my children to give back. Why shouldn't that work for us? We made America what it is today. Do you think the prosperity of this country happened on its own? |
