There are new voting policies being implemented in over 35 states around the country, because the GOP/TP knows that this would circumvent all minorities, poor, and disadvantage from  having unhampered voting access which would help them have greater sucess at at the polls, because the people who are being effected the most by these policies usally elect democracts.
The GOP/Tp knows that the Nov. elections of 2010 which got an overwhelming number of GOP/TP elected to congress couldn not possibly happen upon the next election because now the people know their true agenda;which is anti collective barganing, social security.medicare, medicade, and other entitlements;not to mention, defeating pres. Obama re-election bid.The GOP/TP knows that they would be more ap to loose seats in the house, and possibly the presidential election if they did not do something to counter effect democractic turn out.
The Gop/Tp has been systematically saying whatever comes to mind;true,or not;absurb? Yes! To deceive the senior citizens, and independent voters, and anyone who would listen, along with any other under handed, and diabolitical schemes they can come up with;including, saying they can solve the jobless debacle, and the deficit, and know that they don't have a clue, and have no intensions of passing any bills to be part of the solution and not the problem;meanwhile everyday saying what a terrible president Obama is.Hopefully many will see this diabolical plot by the GOP/TP and vote all of them out of office, and support president Obama.

YES the same ones you wrote about  will end up owning the people of this country if their Nazi/Lenin tactics continue to confuse and divide.
Does anyone really think we got into two wars,  big deficits,  by  accident ?      Its a real  scheme.....the trickle-down is a  trojan horse to keep the top tax rates DOWN for the richest who aren't hurt by this economy at all.   Our corporations are doing very well and some with loopholes don't pay taxes at all.     This is no accident to have a BIG--discussion about the DEFICIT  now....that was never talked of before.     The USA isn't broke and the deficits aren't NEW..... its just a cause  to finally  privatize  SS  by making CUTS and giving it up to Wall Street.

It's  transparent to anyone who is still has a living brain. to think with and doesn't buy what we are be brainwashed into believing.

Reading these 2 messages and I wonder if they were signed by the Vice President.  It is interesting that AARP Magazine in telling  about problems with fraud that it shows a picture and explanation of a PONZI scheme. It looks just like the way Social Security works so Rick Perry seems to have the guts to call SS for what it is. It is to bad that AARP did not add this explanation of a PONZI scheme in the section that they were talking about fixing SS.

Talking about unions, they have done a real nice job puting the US Postal service down the drain.   This  so called Jobs Bill does nothing for creating new jobs, there isn't anything in it for long range jobs, Temporarily cutting the payroll tax does not encourage companies to hire, it just sounds good. Extending the unemployed bennefit helps the unemployed but it does not create jobs. So this so called Jobs Bill is just giving money to the unions for there support of the Democrates march to bankrupcy.

Of course it's to ensure keeping this President out of office, and let's not forget to thank the Supreme Court for letting the "Big Corps" allow funding for their Presidential Candidate, no questions asked.  This is a democracy??
Im glad to read JANMB and merkga, I was beginning to think everyone had gone to sleep...
Very sad times,  no compassion, no ethics, Wondering what the "Frontline" will be saying about this 25 yrs. from now.
I know I have to tell my Grandchildren how I feel, so they know some of us had ssome sense in 2011:)

The GOP knows that the bigger the turnout, the more likely the Democrats will win.  So the GOP always tries to suppress voter turnout.

All 35 states - the changes are being proposed by the GOP.  So what does that tell you, THEY ARE SCARED! It's manipulative and unamerican.  Every American has the right to vote.

Open the booths early so working people can vote.  No, some states want to start later, close early....REALLY? Shame on you GOP.

National ID's?  How much are they?  Where do you get them?  If it's national, like a SS Card....well maybe the STATE should pay for it, if it's a requirement.

I can't believe the tactics that are being used, CORRUPTION, money and power.  I hope people in the 35 states wake up and see what is going on!  Like in NC look at all the money one man is putting into changing thing because the Dems won last year by a very small margin.  Why should we live by "his" rules.  I'm glad the Occupy WS, LA, BOS, DC everywhere is taking place.  It's time to clean HOUSE...people.  We have been quiet and complacent to long.  Get out your walking canes! We are taking to the streets with the kids...doing it for our future.

@www.aarp.org/online-community/people/showProfile.action?UID=10922932&plckUserId=10922932" target="_parent">anjbucklin   How do you know if the jobs bill won't create jobs?  Have you looked at the bridges?  When is the last time you went into a school?  Our country is in serious need of repairs.  It's been over 50yrs for some bridges.  How are your knees?  Hips?  Need a little work?  We could all use a tune up after 50...so could our infastructure.

Have you read the proposal?  Looks good to me.  I'm not the vice president...but like he's been know to say  ...It's a big Friggin deal!  Pass the Bill, it will save jobs, get money flowing...nothing wrong with that Bucklin.

The unions have nothing to do with the post office failings.  Lets face it the internet has drastically reduced mail flow.  Are you one of those GOP union busters?

Look at anything that has been priviatized.  LOOK AT THE NUMBERS....it will not save the PEOPLE money.  Who will benefit/profit?  CORPORATIONS...the same that spend billions on elections for their own interests.  Really, look at the wars.  We contracted with Black Water and what ever they call them selves now.  Paying for contractors has cost more that what we pay are soldiers!  Please review FACTS before you make claims.

So if our government can spend less money to keep things affordable for the average American, why not?  That is not big government.  That is taking care of your own....we have built this country.  I've always taught my children to give back. Why shouldn't that work for us?  We made America what it is today.  Do you think the prosperity of this country happened on its own?
