Obama's Plan doesn't take $716 billion from Medicare , its estimated to save $716 billion over 10 years. This was confirmed by the Non Partisan Cogressional Budget Office. Romney's attack ads are not truthful. The N.Y. Times Sunday Review and the Washington Post also call Romney's last 3 campaign ads false ( regarding taking $716 billion from Medicare, Letting People Stay on Welfare and the "You didn't build that " ALONE" ads, but Romney keeps running them anyways. President Obama and VP Biden have promised to preserve Medicare and Social Security. If you go to the web site" whitehouse.gov" it explains exactly what President Obama and VP Biden have promised to do. Romney and Ryan want to dismantle Medicare into a Voucher system and privatize S.S. Thats it in a nutshell, my friend. I guess truth in campaign advertising doesn't matter to Romney. Response to Supporting Obama's reducing medicare?: I was dismayed this morning to see a commercial on major networks that supports Obama's removing 716 billion dollars from Medicare to finance Obamacare as a good thing. Not sure I want to remain a member.

NY times and Washington post are both leftist publications. They've lost most of their readership because they no longer report the news accurately. The $716B is coming out of Medicare and going to obamacare. Arguing about where the cuts are is just a matter of semantics. Doctors will be paid less and not accept Medicare patients. IF we had the health plan that Obama initially wanted we wouldn't need medicare becuase the President's plan would cover all Americans, but since you don't need medicare doesn't mean other,s don't. Health insurance company lobbist are working hard to stop the President's plan. Which insurance company you work for? I'm afraid your wrong about both the N.Y. Times and Washington Post. Both publications see both sides of issues, unlike Fox News. Obama's plan is not cuts of $716 billion its savings of $716 billion, big difference in semantics. I'm sure you know more that the Congressional Budget Office too. Face it President Obama could cure all cancer and solve world peace and you would still hate the man.
