You wouldn't hear that on PBS but on Fox. PBS is for everyone not just the Tea Party. Like our Republican governor, jobs are being created at fast food establishments, coal mines and convenient stores for nickels an hour and have to pay taxes while the rich get richer and pay no taxes. Posted by Labrat64 We are enticing companies to move their operations to my state. Doesn't help the numbers at the other state but it sure does help us. We are achieving our goal - unemployment has come down enough that we have been able to stop the emergency unemployment compensation.

You're leaving out jobs being created in the petroleum indusry and the chemical industry. These are high paying jobs. I've been trying to find lab work in the NY Metro area, but it's simply not available because of high local taxes and the states caving into the unions. There are plenty of jobs available in the Deep South because of the business friendly environment. You've pretty much hit that one on the head. To create jobs, you must have a business friendly atmosphere. all those things you mention contribute to that.
