In Response to The State of the Nation; the Era Born Blind, the Jews and Prophesy: If you believe in the Bible then what it says is relevant to you and me, if you don't then it means nothing and likely so does this post. The Jews were the first to receive the revelation of the existence of God and His plan for the salvation of the world. However Jews are divided in their beliefs. There are Jews that believe Jesus is the Messiah and there are the Fundamentalist Jews that believe the Messiah is yet to come. I am a firm supporter of the Jewish people but the Fundamentalist Jews seem to have remained in the same mind set as the Pharisees that Christ often challenged with the most profound story of the New Testament that describes the close mindedness of not only the Pharisees but applies to all of us who prefer our own packaged idea of unsubstantiated truth in contrast to God's objective truth as evidenced by Sacred Scripture and Oral Tradition (truths handed down before they were written down) and that is the story of The Man Born Blind. Jesus always gave the greatest punch lines to get the point across;"so you say you SEE (UNDERSTAND), so your sin (INTELLECTUAL DARKNESS) remains." He even wept over Jerusalem because His chosen people (could this also be the once blessed nation of the US (in God we trust),were not HUMBLE enough to be open to God's truths AND DID NOT RECOGNIZE His visitation. We always think we can outsmart God with our limited intellect but in reality we remain in our pathetic darkness. There are thousands of people with PHDs, Masters and Doctorate degrees and still we cannot depend on the so called intellectuals to pull us out of our dilemas, the dilemas that we created. That's because they/we do not seek God's WISDOM. Proverbs says; do not rely on yourself but put your trust in God. God is allowing us to wallow in the manure of our pride and the folly of our boastfull plans. Nothing will ever change until we the people of this country get our face in the dirt and beg God's forgiveness for our crimes just as they did in Nineva. In the meantime Bible prophesy is unfolding before our eyes such as the Jews are returning to their homeland and the final evangelism of the Jews to accept Jesus Christ before His Second Coming. Future prosperity can only be achieved when we include God in all of our decisions and follow in strict obedience just as the Jews had to learn the lessons of obedience throughout their history. God refused Moses to enter the Promised Land because he struck the rock for water instead of speaking to the rock and after all he endured to get the Jews to the Promised Land. Further God spoke to Abraham saying: I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. It would do us well for this nation take heed of these words of God to always be an ally to Israel. Posted by dcm929 What I don't GET ....is what has this got to do with GOVERNMENT. ? Thomas Jefferson carried on a long and successful campaign against state financial support of churches in Virginia . It is Jefferson who is credited with propagating the phrase "separation of church and state". During his 1800 campaign for the presidency, he had to contend with critics who argued that he was unfit to hold office because he did not have orthodox religious beliefs.....seems we are repeating history today.in the republican party. Separation of church and state has served this country better than the ruling of church over state in the middle east..... |

Your post means everything to me and I respect that you have the privilege that this Govt. gave you to write on how you interpret the Bible. All I ask is if I disagree respect that also. n Response to The State of the Nation; the Era Born Blind, the Jews and Prophesy: If you believe in the Bible then what it says is relevant to you and me, if you don't then it means nothing and likely so does this post. Israel Launches ‘Bible-Birthright’ Program
The Bible Lands Museum is launching on Wednesday a new tour created for Birthright that shows the Bible as Israel’s true birthright.
The above teaching is wrong, wrong and wrong again. Israel was is not the birthright of the Jews and never was. It is sad that in Israel they are teaching their children these lies.
(Gen 37:1 KJV) And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. (Gen 45:21 KJV) And the children of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way. (Gen 46:6 KJV) And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt , Jacob, and all his seed [Israel] with him: (Gen 46:7 KJV) His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt. (Gen 46:8 KJV) And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.
Israel was a man not a place. And these Jews of Israel are teaching their children other things as well.
Jerusalem: pious Jew spits on Christians again
I pray that the American Jews put an end to the above but it is only a prayer and one that the Jews can answer but no one else. |

One cannot ignore the parts in the Bible that reflect... Ritual Human Sacrifice · Rape in the Bible · Murder in the Bible · Slavery in the Bible. And the words were all written by MEN. Leviticus: Only unblemished males are to be killed and offered to God. Females don't even make good burnt offerings. 1:3, 10. ( Women were at least saved from that kind of end....but might have endured other tortures.) |
