Again I get a message AARP asking for money for our voice heard in Washington.  I usually give when they ask but I am not until I am certain that they really want to win this fight or just going through the motions.  I don't know what they do in Washington.  They don't tell us what Lawmakers support Social Security and Medicare as it is or the Lawmakers who want to cut the programs.   This is information we need to know especially when elections come around.  AARP needs to start realizing who they represent and it's not the rich and entitled, it's the old, the disabled, the people who depend on Social Security and Medicare for a meager existance in this country.  They say they bring hundreds of seniors to Washington to plead their case.  I have never be asked.  If they want to take seniors to Washington INVITE EVERYBODY.
