There are about 4.5 million family related immigration applications on waiting list currently. The skilled worker's cases are about 110,000. Sponsors for family related immigration have about 5 years obligation. After that, new immigration families are free to get welfare and Medicaid. See government promotion web site: |

The immigration reform would legalize about 11 mil. illegal residents. I would support that. But we should change our current "unlimited" parents immigration. Think about those 11 mil. people can bring in 22 mil parents, most of them will end up welfare. Can our Social Security and Medicare afford it? |
