I don't know if he said it or not, but he's probably not too far off base. I know that here in NYC, you can easily find multiple generations on welfare-living in free public housing, getting food stamps and medical care through Medicaid. Pass by any public hopusing project during normal working hours and you see people milling around. Why work for minimum wage when you can collect much more on the dole. Besides, honest work interferes with dealing drugs and prostitution. Response to RYAN SAYS 30% are HAPPY LIVING ON WELFARE: Latest remark, according to Ryan we have to believe then....that 30% of our Americans are happy to live in a bug infested rat-hole, or better on the streets, do not want to have a nice car, or clothes or have a lovely vacation or eat in fine restaurants or have a steak on the menu. In order to maintain this wonderful lifestyle, they would refuse a good paying job without a second thought. Of course, that remark is coming from someone out of touch with the real-world . And t hat begs the question - how cruel can we be? It seems some politicians on the right have no problem with forcing people into the streets and out of their homes and reducing food stamp programs. If anyone is living on the poverty level and on any kind of welfare program, you had better invest in a good tent and other camping equipment, just in case republicans win and Ryan's budget takes effect. Start now to create your own backup plan so if everything crashes down around you -- you can walk out of your "comfort zone" that Ryan believes you are in ...without being in a panic. Poverty isn't because of a lack of character ...its a lack of money due to a lack of opportunity due to a lack of investment . It is a time when society turns its back and makes you invisible. This time Romney's 47% remark and Ryan's 30% remark make us all look at the once invisible. Posted by JANMB |

The Democrat party is the party of dependency. To get that vote it doles out whatever it can to enslave those that vote for it: A perfect example is the ZoNation take on the obamaphone ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjGkACy57tE&feature=g-all-u |

Dope dealing and prostitution brings in a lot more than welfare and people in your neighborhood probably are customers if you would want to believe it or not. As the Mexicans say "Don't blame us for your addiction problem. And not just the neighborhoods you think the problem lies are financing the drug culture. You listen to FOX news so much they have you Brain Washed. In Response to Re: RYAN SAYS 30% are HAPPY LIVING ON WELFARE: I don't know if he said it or not, but he's probably not too far off base.
