Russian newspaper offends the majority of Americans then. however they made the important point here: During Obama’s first term in office Vladimir Putin was the Prime Minister of Russia and had given a speech in 2009 about avoiding the Soviet mistake of militarization. He said with regards to the economy and a huge military build up, “…instead of solving the problem, militarization pushes it to a deeper level. It draws away from the economy immense financial and material resources, which could have been used much more efficiently elsewhere.” Apparently no one was listening.

Putin knew that a big military buildup plus a war going on in Afghanistan caused Communist Russia to go bankrupt in the 90's. A fool learns from his own mistakes. The smart learn from other people's mistakes. So who are we?We haven't learned much from Russia's mistakes but actually we haven't learned from our mistakes either! Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, Afganistan, Iraq - so many people were killed in those UNDECLARED wars and still "Washington" wants to start some new one... Will Americans pay for it? Josh Tolley talks about the climate for PEACEFUL revolution and the need for us to be enterpreneurs to easily go through the fiscal cliff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t37m813IXs&feature=g-all |

Yes and Republicans fail to admit the real cause of our financial demise. It was WARS, especially the two Bush started. What matters is that we are financialy (almost) broke and the HUGE change in policy is needed to get us back in shape. However I don't think there will be any serious changes so... let's see what happens. (the poor, the old, the disabled will pay the most, I'm afraid) |
