So it's clear that when REPUBLICANS say no tax hikes, they ACTUALLY mean millionaires and billionaires shouldn't pay more, ever -- even if that means your taxes go up. ON THURSDAY CONGRESS VOTED on a BILL THAT GAVE TWO SIMPLE CHOICES: A) Let Obama's payroll tax cut expire (raising typical family's taxes by more then $1000 next year B) EXTEND and EXPAND the TAX CUT, helping 160 million people and let that same family keep $1500
The payroll tax cut would be paid for by requiring millionaires and billionaires to pay a little more. But some in Congress think millionaires and billionaires should get to keep paying the already-low rate they get, thanks to the Bush tax cuts. And the Republican presidential candidates are in lock step with the GOP leaders in Congress on this. Just last week, Mitt Romney said he's "not looking to put money in people's pockets" and backed his Congressional counterparts. RON PAUL along with his fellow Republican presidential contenders Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich, want to end capital gains and dividends taxes. WHOOPPPEEE more money for the 1% ----83 percent of all U.S. stocks are in the hands of 1 percent of the people. Jan, You gotta let me send this one to the local conservative newspaper and hear them howl. How could these Republicans be so stupidly bold that they think they can get away with cuddling the rich 1% while they continue stepping on, pushing aside and ignoring the needs of us, the 99% In Response to REPUBLICANS VOTE & SAY NO to TAX CUTS TO EVERYONE BUT THE RICH: So it's clear that when REPUBLICANS say no tax hikes, they ACTUALLY mean millionaires and billionaires shouldn't pay more, ever -- even if that means your taxes go up. You are ablolutely correct. n Response to Re: REPUBLICANS VOTE & SAY NO to TAX CUTS TO EVERYONE BUT THE RICH: So what's the good news here? The Republican Party is in self destruct mode thanks to the Tea Partiers. I cannot remember being more entertained by one political party where dumb dumber and dumbest prevails in its strategy for winning the White House and Congress in 2012. Yes, go Gingrich, go Romney, go (gone) Cain, go Perry (dumbest), go Bachmann (at least true to herself), we could not ask for a more inferior slate of candidates in any party and both parties have plenty of them! Can you imagine living to see the day when RON PAUL becomes a light of hope in the Republican Party? The Republicans will suffer from this deadlock but in the end it will pass somehow...but they will continue wounding themselves in the process through 2012 until November. And I thought Pat Robertson was a joke! Wow how deep is the bottom in this range of losers? Proof of the pudding is that THE MOST QUALIFIED REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE IS HUNTSMAN and he is dead last among these fools. Posted by psfrankj |
