in both last conventions, Rep. and Dem. they IGNORED voice of Americans and just read from teleprompter different result of the vote. Americans should be well informed what their government is doing -

Differences are huge but IN RHETORIC. Did you see any significant policy change when Obama replaced Bush? Camps of R and D are encouraged to fight each other by mainstream media -esp corporate tv which stresses slighest differences- to keep people occupied. Whoever wins will not change American lives for the better-- they will keep losing their rights and become poorer. Nice future... |

Astra, I'm an ex Republican, now Independent who supports Obama because I dont want to see Medicare turned into a Voucher system, and watch Social Security privatized into the hands of Wall Street. This is what Romney and Ryan will do and its in Ryans Republican passed budget for next year. Imagine having a voucher coupon that wont cover your needed surgery and fighting over the phone with the insurance rep. answering from a call center in New Delhi, India. The voucher is only worth so much and doesn't go up with inflation, so you either dont have surgery or file for bankruptcy. Do you think a profits come first insurance company really cares? Romney changed his tune at the first debate and talked like he cares about 100% of us, because the polls showed he was behind at that time. Now he's moderate Mitt, who is a new man, he no longer believes that we seniors, disabled and Veterans are the 47% moochers he called us at his $50,000 per plate fund raiser in Boca Raton, Florida. If you need affordable healthcare and want Social Security preserved, you better vote Democrat, because a Republican vote is a vote against Seniors, Disabled and Veterans. Today's Republicans are all about " More for those who dont need it and less for those who do ". Again, dont believe me, just look at Ryans Budget Plan or go to the Congressional Budget Office website for non - partisan scoop. In my opinion and based on both men's record.
