Members of the extreme and anti-woman Religious Right want to make it legal to ban birth control.    Are we going to ignore some issues just because it doesn't pertain to us or are we all in this together or not.

Anti-birth control activists wield so much influence in the Republican primaries that Rick Santorum unequivocally stated on the campaign trail that he opposes contraception and thinks states should be able to ban the use of contraceptives.

And it's not just Santorum. In a Republican presidential debate on Saturday, Mitt Romney, thought to be more moderate than Santorum, refused to answer a point blank question on whether he supported the right of individual states to ban birth control.

It's a simple question.

Does Mitt Romney want to make it constitutional to ban birth control in America?

The right to use contraceptives was guaranteed in the Supreme Court ruling in Griswold v. Connecticut.     This ruling guaranteed a right to privacy and deemed it unconstitutional to outlaw birth control.    What about a woman's right of choice anyway and ownership of her own body.    So are we going to be electing the American form of the Taliban to office.....it's up to us.

Nobody can seriously enterntain the possibility of birth control being illegal.
And that's why the religious zealot like Santorum should never be our president

Fortunately he has no chance of doing well in most states.

As to Romney-nobody knows what he stands for--including himself. The worst flip-flopper ever.

And of course the most honest politician Ron Paul- who defends the constitution and considers birth control LEGAL

OBVIOUSLY,  one of the GOP candidates needs to be nominated.    But,   I don't believe you will get your wish for Ron Paul.....I think THE ONE has already been chosen......most think it shall be Romney.

At this point,  I'm very skeptical that any of these elections are truly honest.      When votes are so close ....it's easy to fix them (like recently  Iowa). (like Florida)

If you want to know who really runs the country.... We all know that the really, really, really filthy rich technically don't have any earned income, because all their $$$$income is derived from dividends and longterm capital gains, which have a maximum rate of 15% .........

So, if we divide .15 into 665,000,000 we can quickly see that Ol'  83 yr old  Boone who appeared recently on MSBNC to cry about his taxes.....who   made, at very bottom line minimum, about $4,433,333,333.00 in 2011 tax year ....... Yes, that number is 4 $billions, $433 millions, $333 thousands, 4 333 dollars and no cents .............. try writing that on a paper check to yourself.

Do you HONESTLY believe that the Boone's the Kochs want any democrat to be elected or any soft-republican so they can't get richer.....they can't find cheap plentiful help to do the dirty jobs in this country ?

i realize Ron Paul's chances to win are small because power to lead this country has been hijacked from the people--- if nothing else this election might be a proof of that.

However i think that Democrats and Republicans are like 2 hands of the same body (the establishment), like "good cop" and "bad cop" in cross-examination. "No matter who people choose in November they choose us"

They fiercely oppose Ron Paul. Ignore, ridicule, spread lies about him.
(unfortunately mostly seniors believe in these lies...)- maybe fixed Iowa, maybe not

but there are other states, and sooner or later "a thief or liar gets caught".

I also happen to believe the establishment has already chosen Romney (with blessing of Bush Sr...)- and that theyrather will see Obama win with Romney than nominate Paul even if it meant White Hoouse for GOP.
