In Response to PROTECT YOUR SECOND AMENDMENT: i do not have any gun and have no intention of getting it. Once I even believed only cops and military needed to be armed. WRONG! Second amendmemd is here for a reason---protecting yourself and your family against PEOPLE-even if these people are police in the police state.Josh Tolley talks about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrH0jVwJbdQ Posted by Astra2012 The second amendment was written 200 years ago when people had muskets. This is 2013. I won't comment on how stupid that "adage" is that guns don't kill people, people kill people. But it sure does give one a conclusion that people should be allowed to have " innocent" guns. For that matter - we could say Nuclear weapons don't kill people, people kill people. So should we need to quit blaming the nuclear weapons and allow all the nuks anyone wants...... but if they kill masses of people ....well the nation goes into mourning. Yes indeed the adage is really stupid "guns don't kill people, people kill people" . Truth is that by the current interpretation of the Constitution, people can own guns.....actually the 2nd Amendment was written when the USA army had "MUSKETS" Where are my rights and freedom gone to in this.... to not be afraid of going to a movie, church, mall, riding in a car or having children go to school or be confronted by a stand your ground law gun-slinger ? Why are people like me not safe on the streets because of drive-by shooting or shoot outs ? Where are my rights to have a nation like the UK and other countries that do not allow this life under the rotten old ancient --2nd Amendment that was written for the era of MUSKETS.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it. Thomas Jefferson I own a few guns. Louisiana recognizes open carry, and I have my gun in my car where ever I go. Why? To keep the playing field even. I also have a concealed permit & visit the range once a month. The bad guys always have theirs and don't expect us to have one. I've never had to use it, or show it. But if push come to shove..... http://www.laopencarry.org/faq.html |
