This is a pettion from some doctors to the FDA Thanks Dan Posted by dano1259 IN Florida there have been many arrests in Pain CLinics. Maybe the most famous individual in FL is Rush Limbaugh who surrendered to authorities on a charge of committing fraud to obtain prescription pain meds. |

In NY opiates can only be prescribed for 30 days, with no renewals on the original prescription. If you want a renewal you have to have a really good reason. This cuts down on street corner drug sales. My wife was on oxycontin after surgery for a broken bone. She was able to obtain only one renewal.
