What is truly amazing is that Grover Norquist, Paul Ryan and the rest of those Republican lawmakers have Mitt's agenda already for him if he is elected and all he has to do is start signing and doesn't have to think at all. If he thought for himself, I'm sure many lawmakers wouldn't agree with him. But Mitt doesn't have to worry about thiinking. Besides he thinks he bailed out the Auto Industry. n Response to The Presidnt's Budget Goes down in Defeat Once Again.: The presiden'ts budget was defeated unanimously in both The house and senate. I guess he consulted his daughters when he set up that budget. What's truly amazing is that even his own party rejected the budget, another example of his leading from behind. Posted by Labrat64 |

Even Senator Reid wouldn't bring it to the floor for debate and/or negotiations. It seems to me that both parties are only going through the motions of legislating - guess we can expect nothing more in an election year. I do think that the @#%$^& is gonna hit the fan next year with all the stuff that is set to hit and it will not matter who sits at the helm of the Legislative or Executive Branches. |

IRemember Simpson Bowles. The president appointed them to come up with a budget, something that would be agreeable to both parties, even though it would require some scarifice. He didn't even bother to introduce it to Congress, because he was afraid it would spoil his chance of getting re-elected. BTW, the controlled auto bailout was Mitt Romneys idea. Personally i don't agree with any bailouts. In a free market system businesses are created and destroyed. Competition leads to efficiency. . n Response to Re: The Presidnt's Budget Goes down in Defeat Once Again.: What is truly amazing is that Grover Norquist, Paul Ryan and the rest of those Republican lawmakers have Mitt's agenda already for him if he is elected and all he has to do is start signing and doesn't have to think at all.
