GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan sees no place for the Obama Administration's contraception mandate.

The Associated Press reports that Ryan was asked about whether he would press Vice President and fellow Catholic Joe Biden on his views in relation to the 2012 Democratic Party platform.

Ryan's answer turned straight to the piece of Obamacare providing birth control access.      He vowed to remove that requirement for insurance providers, including Catholic hospitals and universities, on "day one."

"It will be gone," Ryan told onlookers at the University of Central Florida. "I can guarantee you that."
AS IF A VP HAD THE POWER TO DO SO--WHAT A  SMUCK HE IS !!!

If anyone wondered why Lorena Bobbit emasculated her husband when he was sleeping....they just have to read Ryan's statements......

JANMB, the mandate IS NOT a law passed by Congress. It was a mandate issued by the Health and Human Services Department and it is a violation of religious liberty and conscience protections afforded by the Constitution. I am a Catholic, and the mandate is a significant reason that I do not support President Obama's re-election.

If our current Health and Human Services Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, had the authority to mandate that Catholic institutions such as hospitals and universities must provide contraceptives and abortion-indicing drugs as part of their health insurance plans, then a new Administration most certainly can (and will) reverse that mandate.

So Mr. Ryan is not a "smuck" as you described him. And if this forum is meant for civil discussion, why are you name-calling Mr. Ryan?

According to obama islamic principles overlap our Conbstitutional principles (his Cairo speech in 2009). I guess that means that women can be thought of as second class citizens (a rape conviction can only be prosecuted if there are 4 islamic male witnesses present).

HEAR THIS FROM THE WOMEN IN AMERICA WITH ALL OUR VOTES AND  MOST WOMEN  ALIGN THEMSELVES WITH THE  DEMOCRATIC PARTY----THEY ARE THE SISTERS-- MOTHERS---AUNTS---YOUNG & OLD WOMEN

CARE 2  ----NATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN ----WOMEN FOR OBAMA --- EMILY"S LIST

-

The first bill President Obama signed into law was the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, making progress in a decades-long struggle to ensure women have the tools they need to fight for equal pay for equal work.    THANK YOU OBAMA YOU CARE ABOUT WOMEN

The President knows we’ve still got a long way to go to create an economy where hard work pays off, regardless of gender. Women still earn just 77 cents for every dollar a man earns for the same work—that’s why the President established the Equal Pay Task Force and supports the Paycheck Fairness Act, which would give women more tools to fight pay discrimination.

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan refuse to stand up for fair pay for women. Romney won't say whether he would have signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, and he has avoided taking a position on the Paycheck Fairness Act. Paul Ryan voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. as did MOST ALL REPUBLICANS ......THEY ARE AT WAR AGAINST WOMEN

At EMILY’s List we spend a lot of time examining what women voters care about – and independent women all over the country reject these extremist policies,” Schriock continued. “Instead – from reproductive rights, to equal pay, to Medicare – Republicans are engaged in a cradle to grave assault on the programs women need to keep themselves and their families healthy. That’s why this November, voters are going to re-elect the President, and send him strong Democratic women in the House and Senate to help promote a progressive agenda.”
