In Response to Re: Occupy groups have it right, but don't have a plan to change: Evidence that the Occupy groups do NOT "have it right: 1. Their actions hurt the very people they claim to support -- they have hurt lots of people's incomes, they have cost taxpayers millions of dollars in clean-up fees, they are targeting only certain successful capitalists while basically glorifying others (all the gizmos they use were created by very rich people (who created jobs for middle class people who design them, produce them, distribute them, market them, sell them, etc.)) 2. Their actions de-emphasize the role of unions in undermining the competitive strength of this country by driving jobs overseas, by basically bankrupting state financial systems, etc. 3. They are not focused where they need to be -- that den of iniquity called governmenmt. The paychecks they should be going after are the paychecks of our elected officials and their bureaucracies. If they want to occupy something, have them occupy the White House grounds and the Capitol Building (and the corresponding seats of state/local government). There you will find ground zero for the debilitating illnesses that may well lead to the destruction of our way of life. Posted by dmorelly |

The core, the nucleus that started the 99% movement is justice and fairness. This is a simple message but its impacts are many and complex. |
