the differences are very very insignificant - you will not notice any change in this country's direction no matter who wins Nov.6 (how many of us noticed it when Bush jr was replaced by Obama? Not me.) all the "fighting, encouraged by media, to stress differences, are between R and D camps of divided American people. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQoXe6JZQg4 |

If Romney wins, you will notice it, when Medicare is dismantled and your new voucher healthcare is costing you thousands more. Then next up will be privatizing Social Security. Just look at the cuts in services in Ryan's Republican approved budget for 2013. Tax Breaks for the wealthy, Trillions more than the Pentagon is asking for to the military ( Iran War ? ) ? Cuts in education, police, fire and more cuts for those who are struggling. Oh If Romney wins, this time you will notice a big difference in your purse or wallet. If your well off, it will get better. If your'e struggling, it will get worse. If Romney wins and the Republicans keep majority control of the House and God forbid gain control of the Senate, our seniors, disabled, Veterans, lower/middle class workers and poor children will be thrown under the bus. Romney will flex his muscles with an overfunded military and our brave boys and girls will pay the ultimate price. Our Nation will be run by a bunch of Plutocrats, giving more to those who dont need it and less to those who do. There will be no checks and balances in Wash. DC. Astra, It seems like your man, Ron Paul, is on his own and he is also being thrown under the bus by today's plutocrats.Response to Re: Obama and Romney have the same policies: there are differences in rhetoric. Traditionally D camp thinks first about the poor and R about the rich but many Democrats in congress are rich and think only about getting richer-couldn't care less about Americans--like all the Democrats who voted for the war in Iraq! Romney will not dismantle Medicare by himself and our representatives will not support it because more than anything they want to be re-elected. They talk about it--but it is just talk. i hope attacking Iran is also just a talk. But now, thinking about it, i see one difference. Romney has a very weak personality and surrounds himself with stronger people--unfortunately now there are neocons...We saw their policy under Bush jr first term. Obama has strong personality and will not listen to such "advisors". Even Gary Johnson wants to make cuts in Medicare (is that true wisemagic?) saying it is unsustainable as it spends more than takes in. the only protector of Medicare, ironically, seems to be Ron Paul who would keep it unchanged for people over 25 making cuts overseas and in the size of government. Obama may not directly want to cut it but his rekord spending and no cuts will force cuts.

Repeal Obamacare and Bush's Medicare Rx plan. Cut Medicare and Medicaid by 43 percent. Block grant Medicare; carte blanche to the states, give it to the states to deliver health care to the poor and those over 65 and do away with the strings. Do away with that regulations and let the states handle it. Gary presided over the beginning of managed care for Medicaid recipients in New Mexico known as Salud!, and it replaces fee-for service and covers approximately two-thirds of available services under Medicaid. Salud! has been described as operating with "significant savings to both the State and Federal governments," when compared to fee-for-service. http://www.ontheissues.org/2012/Gary_Johnson_Health_Care.htm http://www.ontheissues.org/Gary_Johnson.htm

debates between Romney and Obama were actually MEANINGLESS as nobody touched meaningful subjects like e'g. printing fiat money or kill list (and assassination of American citizens). |
