Under Obama - Lowest consecutive GDP quarters than anytime in our history - Unemployment has nearly doubled - More workers fall out of the labor force than anytime in our history - Minority unemployment is highest in 30+ years - Young worker unemployment highest since tracked in the 1950's - Unemployment over 8% for 43 months, ....never has happened in our history - 38% increase in Americans living at or below poverty,.... more than anytime in our history - 36% increase in homelessness - 13% more Americans WITHOUT healthcare today than 4 years ago - 50% increase in debt - 4.5x more people on food stamps - 3x more people on welfare than anytime in our history - In 3 wars instead of 2 and about to be a 4th with Syria - Gitmo still open - More companies have filed bankruptcy than anytime in our history - 25% increase in home foreclosures - Under Obamacare women can only get pap smears every 4 years instead of annually - Under obamacare mamograms every 3 years instead of annually - The real war on women |

Mitt Romney is kicking off his first big campaign sprint of the general election with a symbolic return on Friday morning to the same picturesque New Hampshire farm where he launched his campaign a year ago. From there, Romney will ramble through five other states on a five-day bus tour. But although Romney will start just 12 miles from Massachusetts, his tour will bypass his home state altogether. Massachusetts is where Romney moved for graduate school, ran a business, raised a family and served as governor. In pursuit of the presidency, however, Romney has all but ignored the state that was his launching pad. Why? Because Massachusetts residents, unlike residents of any other state, have actually seen Mitt Romney govern first hand. And apparently they didn’t like what they saw. Fifty-four percent of Massachusetts voters hold an unfavorable view of Mitt Romney, compared to only thirty-six percent who view him favorably. Polls in late May had President Obama leading Mitt Romney in Massachusetts by an average of 20 points. The result is a presidential nominee who, more than any other in recent history, has distanced himself from his home state and is unpopular with the voters who know him best. In addition, Romney almost never talks about his experience as Governor of Massachusetts. For example, he gave an economic speech in Ohio, but didn’t mention Massachusetts once. Perhaps that’s because of his dismal performance on jobs, where his record was one of the worst in the country. Massachusetts residents see Romney as a carpetbagger. Some of Romney’s old supporters question his commitment to the state. “He’s not one of us,” said Jessica Clark, 35, a waitress, as she took a break at the Main Street Cafe one morning earlier this week. “We’re not necessarily his home base. He’s got houses all over the country, and so his home base is wherever he decides it is at the time.” To sum up, during Mitt Romney’s four years: Massachusetts ranked third lowest in job creation and would have been second worst except that Katrina devastated Louisiana. Manufacturing payrolls declined by 14%. Massachusetts was the only state not to gain in number of employed residents. Only out-migration of working age adults kept the unemployment rate from ballooning, and The median (inflation adjusted) weekly earnings of full-time workers in Massachusetts declined by 2%. Sorry, but Gary Johnson doesn't have the $$$ or the friends in high enough places to fight Romney's machine gun loaded on full auto with Weapons of Mass Deception. I never thought money alone could win an election and corrupt democracy, but it could happen. It's amazing how the Republican voters hatred towards President Obama has blinded them to how Romney, Ryan and the Republicans in Congress are going to dismantle Medicare and Social Security. Its all because the wealthy dont want to pay their fair share for Medicare and Social Security, because they dont need it. We do, but guess what ? They dont care about our seniors, disabled or Veterans.
