Sounds like a great idea, but is the NRA or the gun manufacturers going to pay for this ? Afterall, Republican Speaker Boehner says our government cant afford to even maintain or preserve Social Security or Medicare. |

It would be cheaper to arm the teachers. I expected this kind of response from the NRA. The cowards that do these school shootings, do it because the schools are gun free zones. They know they won't be stopped until they have inflicted mass casualties.

There are approx 130,000 schools according to the Board of ED....not including trailers used for classrooms, colleges and dorms. We would have to monitor and investigate thousands of people with guns around our children. SO--why not get more ridiculous and include MALLS, MOVIE THEATERS, CHURCHES where other mass shooting have occurred and create a POLICE STATE. Now won't that be just great !!! Soviet Union anyone ? Easier to get rid of the guns.....but the manufacturers and shops have brained washed some of the public and use the 2nd Amendment written for conditions 200 years ago. Our culture is now based on FEAR ......some are fearful enough to believe they need a gun for protection and other people fear the guns. |
