if you REALLY want to understand it this is a very good documentary (but lasts over 3 hrs! however, it is worth it--although I'm still watching it (third "sitting") They say that monetary policy, who has the power to print money, is more importnt for economy than what we are fighting about (some lousy % of taxes for exampl."fairand good" liberals want to tax the rich more.Fine. We'll get about 100 billion more? 200? It would not restore our country! We need to change the whole monetary policy of printing money from thin air to bail out banks and corporations). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfpO-WBz_mw |

In Response to Re: money matters, money masters and monetary policy!: I plan on watching this documentary in the future. It seems that all our institutions in society, the government, religion and the military, have been bought out by the corporations. The most distressing example are the Superpacs spending hundreds of millions of $$$ on campaign funding. We can't even afford health care for all Americans, keep up an infrastructure or keep our cities running smoothly, yet one person can spend millions of $$$ for an election. It's not just here, but worldwide where profiteers are causing turmoil because of their need to control the wealth. Posted by intersan yes, isn't it outrageous! What's worse, mainstream media also belongs to corporation and presents only selected news or prepares it propaganda-style. We have Internet so we access to alternative information too but most Americans rely solely on tv/radio. i strongly believe the monetary policy is the key to healthy economy. |
