Romney Invested in Medical-Waste Firm That Disposed of Aborted Fetuses, Government Documents Show

Earlier this year, Mitt Romney nearly landed in a politically perilous controversy when the Huffington Post reported that in 1999 the GOP presidential candidate had been part of an investment group that invested $75 million in Stericycle, a medical-waste disposal firm that has been attacked by anti-abortion groups for disposing aborted fetuses collected from family planning clinics. Coming during the heat of the GOP primaries, as Romney tried to sell South Carolina Republicans on his pro-life bona fides, the revelation had the potential to damage the candidate's reputation among values voters already suspicious of his shifting position on abortion.

Romney claims to be pro-life ( this week anyway ). But his investment in Stericycle shows what an ethical and moral disaster this guy really is.

So Romney profited from the removal of aborted fetuses in 1999 ? That would explain why he wont show his Tax returns from 1999 through 2009. I wonder how many millions he made from that investment  Ouch. What was he thinking ? Response to Re: THE FACTS ABOUT MITT ROMNEY WE CANNOT IGNORE:

In Response to Re: THE FACTS ABOUT MITT ROMNEY WE CANNOT IGNORE : No muslim is currently  runing for president----this is not like the “Catholic issue” when John Kennedy was running for president in 1960.      Kennedy was able to look the press straight in the eye and tell them that if he were elected president, he would not be allowing the pope or his archbishop in Boston to dictate how he would run the country and we knew the Kennedys were a lousy Catholics to start with so we could believe it . Both he and his father Joseph Kennedy were notorious philanderers and adulterers...  but Jack was charasmatic...people liked him./......I liked him.   . But Romney takes his faith very, very seriously. Mitt is a high priest in the Church priesthood hierarchy    That's scary....very very scary....especially for us who want to keep religion and  state separate to preserve our democracy for everyone ...even freedom for  women.

MAJOR ROMNEY EMBARASSMENT: Mormons won’t even endorse him

http://tucsoncitizen.com/in-the-aggregate/2012/10/20/major-romney-embarassment-mormons-wont-even-endorse-him/

“Of more importance, the paper said, was Romney's lack of clarity and specifics on his proposal to reduce the deficit, asserting that GOP nominee's plan doesn't add up. The paper also pointed to Romney's now-infamous ‘47%’ comments caught on a secretly-recorded video at a private fund-raiser in Florida suggesting that nearly half of Americans will vote for Obama because they are reliant on government services."

Today the Salt Lake Tribune endorsed the President saying that he deserved a second term but Mitt Romney didn’t deserve a first.  The paper is representative of a huge Mormon population in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as being in a GOP stronghold.  It applauds Romney for what he did for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics but says he has lost whatever talent he brought to the Games at that time.  He was even called a “favorite adopted son,” but no endorsement.
